Pneumatic Penetrating Knife Gate Valve Description

The pneumatic penetrating knife gate valve is a bidirectional sealing on-off valve with a defined stroke. It boasts a sleek, compact design that is both lightweight and easy to install and maintain. The valve can be controlled either manually or pneumatically, offering flexibility for different operational needs. Featuring a dual-seat design and a gate plate with flow-guiding holes, it effectively prevents medium crystallization and sediment buildup. This ensures that the valve provides reliable bidirectional sealing, even in harsh operating conditions, maintaining system integrity and performance.

Valve Body

a) The full-bore flow channel significantly reduces the pressure drop across the valve, thereby preventing fluid flow losses.

b) The upper and lower packing glands prevent medium leakage to the external environment.

Gate Plate

a) The penetrating gate plate with a flow-guiding hole is designed to draw the medium into the valve cavity when cutting off the flow and return it to the flow channel when opened, thereby avoiding medium residue accumulation inside the valve cavity.

b) The thickness of the gate plate can be increased according to working conditions to withstand higher pressures.

c) Both surfaces of the gate plate are finely polished to enhance sealing performance and prevent medium adhesion.

d) The gate plate surface is hard chrome plated to improve wear resistance.

Valve Seat

a) The valve adopts a replaceable seat design (non-integral sealing). When the sealing surface is worn, only the seat needs to be replaced, which simplifies maintenance, extends the service life of the entire valve, and reduces overall equipment operating costs.

b) The seat gland isolates the seat from direct contact with the medium in the flow channel, preventing erosion from the fluid.

c) The replaceable seat design uses a seat cover for fixing and preloading. When the sealing surface is not tight, the sealing performance can be improved by adjusting the seat cover fixing screws.

d) The dual-seat design enables the valve to achieve 100% bidirectional pressure resistance.
