Electric Flanged Knife Gate Valve Description

The electric through-type knife gate valve is a bidirectional sealing on-off valve with a linear stroke. It features a compact and elegant design, with a lightweight structure that supports various control methods, including manual, pneumatic, or electric control. Valve Body

a) The full-bore flow channel significantly reduces valve pressure drop, thereby preventing loss of medium flow.

b) The upper and lower stuffing boxes prevent medium leakage to the environment.

Gate Plate

a) The through-type gate plate with a flow-guiding hole is designed to draw the medium into the valve cavity when cutting off the flow and return it to the flow channel when opening, thus avoiding medium residue accumulation inside the valve cavity.

b) The thickness of the gate plate can be increased according to working conditions to withstand higher pressures.

c) Both surfaces of the gate plate are finely polished, which improves the valve’s sealing performance and prevents medium adhesion.

d) The gate plate surface is hard-chrome plated, enhancing its wear resistance.

Valve Seat

a) The valve adopts a replaceable valve seat design (non-integral sealing). When the sealing surface is worn, only the seat needs to be replaced, which simplifies later maintenance, extends the valve’s service life, and reduces overall equipment costs for the customer.

b) The valve seat gland isolates the valve seat from direct contact with the medium in the flow channel, preventing direct erosion.

c) The replaceable valve seat design uses a seat cover to fix and preload the seat. When the sealing performance decreases, tightening the seat cover screws can improve the sealing effect.

d) The dual-seat design allows the valve to withstand 100% bidirectional pressure.
