Manual Gate Valve Description

The side-sealing knife gate valve features a bidirectional sealing design, providing 100% pressure resistance in both directions with zero leakage. Its unique U-shaped valve seat prevents the accumulation of medium in the valve cavity, ensuring long-term stability during operation. The design also offers a full-bore flow channel, allowing for smooth fluid flow inside the valve and minimizing resistance to the medium.

This valve is particularly well-suited for a range of media, such as pulp, chemical slurries, sludge, mineral slurries, and water.

Valve Body

a) The knife gate valve adopts an integrated structure with an ultra-thin body and a full-bore flow channel. This design significantly reduces medium leakage, minimizes flow loss, lowers costs, and facilitates easy installation and operation.

b) The bottom of the valve body's flow channel features a groove-free design, which prevents medium accumulation and avoids jamming when the valve is closed.

Gate Plate

a) The bottom of the gate plate is designed with a knife-shaped arc, providing a strong shearing effect on the medium during operation and ensuring excellent sealing performance. It is especially suitable for controlling pulp and fiber-containing media.

b) The thickness of the gate plate can be increased according to the actual pipeline pressure.

Valve Seat

a) The U-shaped valve seat achieves sealing by being compressed by the edge of the gate plate, ensuring 100% bidirectional pressure resistance while reducing friction between the gate plate and the valve seat.
