Manual Flanged Knife Gate Valve Description

The manual flanged knife gate valve is a bonneted knife gate valve featuring a sleek, compact design. It is lightweight and offers excellent sealing performance, especially at the packing area, ensuring zero leakage. This valve is ideal for on-off control applications involving gases or toxic media, preventing any leakage during operation. Its reliability and high sealing performance make it suitable for demanding environments, particularly in industries like chemicals and oil, where stringent operational conditions are common.

Valve Body

a) The knife gate valve adopts an integral structure with an ultra-thin body and a full-bore flow passage, which significantly reduces the risk of medium leakage, minimizes flow loss, lowers manufacturing costs, and facilitates installation and operation.

b) The bottom of the valve body passage is equipped with fixed guiding lugs to secure the gate, replacing the traditional groove design. This effectively prevents media accumulation and avoids jamming issues when closing the valve.

c) The bonnet-type design completely isolates the valve cavity from the external environment, ensuring zero leakage at the packing seal and effectively preventing medium leakage from the packing area.

Gate Plate

a) The gate plate adopts a knife-shaped arc design at the bottom, providing strong shearing capability and excellent sealing performance during operation. It is particularly suitable for handling pulp and other fiber-containing media.

b) The gate plate is guided by PTFE point-type bearings, which reduce friction and prevent damage to the gate plate.

c) The thickness of the gate plate can be customized and reinforced according to the actual pipeline pressure.

Valve Seat

a) The valve adopts a replaceable seat design (non-integrated sealing). When the sealing surface is worn, only the seat needs to be replaced, simplifying maintenance and extending the service life of the entire valve, thus reducing operating costs for customers.

b) The replaceable seat is preloaded and secured by a seat cover. When the sealing surface experiences leakage, adjusting the seat cover bolts can improve the sealing performance.
