The VATTEN pipe-connected solenoid valve comes in two types: normally closed and normally open.
Normally Closed Type: When power is off, the valve remains closed. When the coil is energized, the electromagnetic force generated causes the moving iron core to overcome the spring force and attract the static iron core, directly opening the valve port, allowing the medium to pass through. When the coil is de-energized, the electromagnetic force disappears, and the moving iron core returns to its original position under the spring force, closing the valve port and stopping the medium flow. The valve is simple in structure, reliable in operation, and fast in switching speed, working normally even under zero pressure differential and vacuum conditions.
Normally Open Type: The operating principle is exactly the opposite of the normally closed type.

Direct-acting solenoid valves are typically small-sized.
Operating pressure ranges from vacuum to ultra-high pressure.
Common flow diameters for direct-acting solenoid valves: 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2".
Larger connection sizes and flow diameters are available for low-pressure differential applications.
Larger coil power is generally required for these valves with larger sizes or higher pressure conditions.
Other designs include diaphragm and media isolation types, as well as axial designs.
We can design and develop according to the needs of our customers to meet the requirements of different clients.
