VATTEN self-operated pressure control valve is a device that uses the pressure variation of the controlled medium itself to drive the actuator and achieve automatic regulation and stable pressure. It can operate without electricity or gas. It is widely used in various industrial equipment, including those in the petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, food, textiles, machinery manufacturing, and residential building sectors, for pressure reduction, pressure stabilization (post-valve adjustment), or pressure relief and stabilization (pre-valve adjustment) of gas, liquid, and steam media. With an attached condenser, it can operate continuously in steam environments up to 350°C.
The self-operated valve is characterized by not requiring external energy sources, making it suitable for use in environments without electricity or gas. It is both convenient and cost-effective, with easy pressure set point selection and adjustment. The set point can be continuously adjusted without interference during operation, and it is maintenance-free. The pressure regulating valve is designed with a pressure compensation device, which balances the various unbalanced forces inside the valve, ensuring that the valve core remains dynamically balanced during operation. This completely eliminates the impact of pressure fluctuations on the set point accuracy, providing more stable regulation.
The valve is available with three types of actuators: diaphragm type, piston type, and metal bellows type, making it suitable for various working conditions. The diaphragm actuator is suitable for applications with a set pressure ≤ 0.6 MPa, offering quick response. The piston actuator is ideal for medium- to high-pressure conditions with a set pressure > 0.5 MPa. The metal bellows actuator is used in situations where rubber is not applicable.
